   Love is a complicated matter. But if the love remains, yet the beloved one is gone, the pain may outweigh even the strongest love – most especially when this love is one of the strongest kind. Then the only thing that keeps you alive is love itself, in another way, and the motivation not to lose it too. And once you have come to terms with that, it is time to get your life back in order..

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most people may not understand why Thranduil acted the way he did, neither in the book, nor its filmic adaptations by Peter Jackson and his grand gang. But those who have dived deeper into Middle-Earth’s lore, will know how the Eldar, the Elves, are so different from Humans, and they will know history and will know that he is nothing short of his ancestors – and yet very different. Thranduil and his small familiy have gone a long way in a comparatively short time and gone through the most terrible, over the course of more than six thousand years. And those who did read it all, will, as said, know, how much was actually – discovered – by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, and how much is my very own interpretation in this accumulation of knowledge.
